| Well, I have had a liberating last 2 days....first off I informed my bosses that I am quitting soon....YAY!  I really don't like my job. Secondly, I told a certain person in my life (family member) who is a selfish greedy crook that I am through dealing with them and it felt damn good to get it off my chest. I probably won't ever talk to that person again, but unless they change their ways its for the best.
On a brighter note (no pun intended), la mia voce is back!! Woo hoo..... I can practice again. I started learning Bel raggio lusinghier cause I decided I need to learn a Rossini aria before going to the Italian program this summer....since a Rossini expert will be giving a masterclass....makes sense right?  Its gorgeous and is fitting well into my voice. I'm elated.
Also booked my hostel stay in Philly for the Classical Singer convention in May, that should be fun and edifying....my best friend is coming with, aint that sweet? Of course he will have to chill on his own or maybe with his boy toy (if he comes along) until the convention sessions are over. Never been to Philly...looking forward to it.
I am having a good day all around....maybe its Springtime...change is coming, I like change. I will be seeing The Marriage of Figaro at the Tulsa Opera this weekend so I am excited about that too. OK, I am getting paid to write this, I better log off before someone notices. Ciao!

| Man, I totally suck at this whole weblog thing....I never could keep a journal either which is sad because it would have been cool to have kept one when I was in Europe. Anyways.....I'll be going to Europe again this summer so maybe I'll give it another try via this site!!! Yay, go me!
I still have no voice....going to the doctor tomorrow cuz this is getting ridiculous and I am sick of coughing....my poor little cords. I might move to Chicago to make some mulah for a month in June....long story, but Id be working for a friend of my mom's and living rent free.....I hope it works out cuz I need that cash big time. Also, I get to experience the Windy City for a while. OK, time to go home...if they only knew they paid me to post on this place.

| I am really getting sick of this laryngitis coughin crap that won't go away.  I tried vocalizing a bit today to gauge how I was doing, but I sound bad. More silence is forthcoming. *sigh*
I am going to meet my old undergrad voice teacher for coffee tomorrow, so that should be interesting. I am basically asking her for life advice, things are getting financially tough for me and I am trying to decide whether to go to grad school or just move somewhere and study with a great teacher. I'll let you all know how that goes down.
My dog is so cute  ....I just wanna kiss his cute little nose all day. I'll have to post a pic sometime soon.  Laters.

| FAK! I just wrote a crapload and the page changed and it all got erased.....so annnoyed right now.
Anyways, I am trying to raise money to go to a summer program in Italy. I need $3500 for tuition.......so wish me luck! If you want to help me out, its tax deductible and I will love you forever!!! Every buck counts!
Just watched Mystic River tonite...what a depressing movie. I was going to watch Manon with Renee Fleming, but decided it wouldn't be good for my cords...Ive been sick, and when I listen to something I know I sing along silently...this will make sense to singers. I am so annoyed that I have no voice right now, I was just starting work on a Bach piece before I got sick and I am ready to keep working...so frustrating that I have to wait.
